The Short Version

One agreement governs your account; jurisdiction-specific operating terms layer on top via the country toggle. Canadian counsel approves the regulated-MSB clauses; regional counsel approves operating riders.

1. The Agreement

On signup at mavenpay.com you enter into a binding agreement on behalf of Maven Pay Inc., the FINTRAC-regulated counterparty in Toronto, Canada.

Country-specific operating terms (UK, EU, Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong, US) layer on top of this base agreement and govern the operating relationship to the regional non-regulated entity (concierge fulfillment, tech support contract, operating terms).

Use the country toggle at the top of this page once shipped to surface the operating terms for your region. Until then, jurisdiction-specific clauses live at /compliance/terms-ca and /compliance/terms-sg.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or 16 on a Family account, supervised by a guardian), live in a region MavenPay onboards visitors from, and complete identity verification before moving money.

Service may be declined for any reason permitted by code, including AML / sanctions screening outcomes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MavenPay only on legitimate purposes. The full Acceptable Use Policy lives at /compliance/aup.

4. Governing Code

The base agreement is governed by the legal code of Ontario, Canada. Operating-rider terms attach the local governing legal code for that regional relationship.
